Super cute room. The first thing I said when I walked in was "I could live here". It had parking for me and my U-Haul. Water pressure was excellent, hot water was hot very quickly despite a motel swaying it might be a bit slow. Bed was super comfy. My dog was welcome. It is right on the main drag so if traffic bothers you, well don't worry, everyone is pretty much in bed by 10. I didn't hear anything.
My daughter and I stayed here overnight and were very impressed. The owners are warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, had all of the amenities that make for a good home away from home, the wifi was quick and reliable, and the bed was very comfy. We are looking forward to staying again the next time we are in Creston!
A quaint little old style Motel. Clean rooms, comfy beds! Rider and Pet friendly place. Good prices! Friendly staff! Our go to spot to stay at passing Thru. Close to the pub and other eating places.
If you want a unique experience at a great price in lovely Creston, this is the perfect place. Very comfy bed in a clean room. Funky, retro decor and the coolest fridge/sink/stove. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Located right downtown to stroll down main street.
We came in to town quite early they were nice enough to let us book in and even upgraded our room to a 3 bed. Really cute place, clean and friendly staff.
We had such a wonderful stay at the Creston Valley Motel and can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The owner is incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating—you can tell he truly cares about his guests and take pride in the motel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into keeping the space cozy and inviting. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of hockey. The location is also a huge bonus—conveniently walking distance to everything Canyon Street has to offer as well as close to the arena. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, clean, affordable, and run by genuinely good people, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Creston Valley Motel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a great experience!
The best place to stay in Creston! The staff is warm, welcoming and professionalism personified. Special shout out to the housekeeping staff, especially Anthea for the great customer service. Bravo to Steve and Pat for cultivating a must stay experience in the heart of the East Kootenays!!! See you next year.
I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels and motels along the way, I am always weary about lower cost hotels as I have a had a few bad experiences. The Creston Valley Motel and Suites DO NOT fit that criteria, this place (while low cost) is tremendous !!, YES, the hotel is old (1936 I believe) but it is SPOTLESSLY CLEAN and the staff was super helpful and friendly. My wife and I stayed here for one night Feb 27th - 28th and we have ZERO complaints about the experience. When I travel through this area again this summer, I will definitely stay here and I would not have any concerns advising anyone to stay here. The experience was WONDERFUL !!
